What is the process for reserving a room at the Bend House?

If you are new to Ronald McDonald House:

  1. Call your hospital social worker. If you’re not sure about how to contact your social worker, contact the care management team at your treatment facility:
    • St. Charles Medical Center: (541) 706-6360
  2. The social worker or care management team will submit a referral or request for you
  3. Ronald McDonald House will review your referral and work to find an available room during your requested dates*
  4. A Ronald McDonald House staff member will reach out to you about your referral status and provide information about your stay

Who can stay at the Bend House?

To qualify to stay, families must meet all of these requirements:

  1. Families must have a patient who is 21 years or younger
  2. Families must be receiving treatment at a partner facility
  3. Families must have a current referral from the facility where they are receiving care

 

Other important qualification information:

  • Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Patients 18-21 must be accompanied by a support person who is age 18 or older.
  • Families experiencing a high-risk pregnancy may stay at the Bend House at any point during pregnancy with a doctor’s recommendation.

The Bend House is filled with all the amenities of home just moments away from the St. Charles Medical Center.
