Located on the campus of St. Charles Medical Center and built the old-fashioned way with old-growth timbers, this lodge-style house built in 1997 is an architectural gem with warm, rustic, comfortable spaces. Entirely renovated in 2023, our Bend House proudly supports 7 families each night with round the clock love and support.

Ronald McDonald House: Bend has a gorgeous high-desert feel and tons to offer during your family stay.

  • 7 guest suites with private bathrooms, a sitting area, and fully stocked linens, towels, and toiletries.
  • Free food including access to an expansive in-House food pantry, a grab and go coffee + snack bar, and nightly dinners, thanks to our amazing volunteers.
  • Weekly program offerings that including activities such as music, guided crafts, and pet-assisted therapy.
  • Games, books, crafts, and activities for all ages, access to plenty of toys for indoor and outdoor play, art supplies for whenever creativity strikes.
  • Access to beautiful common spaces including a great room and library, outdoor play spaces, a playroom, resource room, a basketball court, sitting areas and a beautiful multi-family kitchen and dining room.
  • A golf cart and House Vehicle driven by staff for use in traveling to and from St. Charles Medical Center.
  • 24-hour staffing and daily “concierge” services provided by staff and volunteers.

We have all the amenities you might need, including:

  • Television, Keurigs, and small refrigerators in every guest room
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • On-site laundry facilities with detergent and supplies
  • Fully stocked kitchens and pantries, including space to store your personal food.
  • Toiletries, supplies and more to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
  • A community of support – our volunteers and staff are here to help. We’re in your corner.
