After 27 years of wear and tear, our beloved Portland East Ronald McDonald House on the campus of Randall Children’s Hospital was urgently in need of renovation. This vital, supportive home that has faithfully served thousands of children and families features 25 guest suites, a kitchen and dining area, multiple community spaces, and two outdoor playgrounds – and offers stability during the most challenging times. It was our turn to care for the House that has cared for so many.

To continue meeting the evolving needs of families, we completed a $2.5 million East House Capital Campaign in 2025 to rebuild, expand, and modernize—ensuring accessibility, efficiency, and the highest level of comfort for every child, parent, and sibling who walks through our doors.
